Fencing, Englefield Green
Client’s rental property bordered a public footpath on two sides with both fences beyond repair and now not safe due to recent storms.. Current shed was also badly damaged where roof felt had worn away and water was now ingressing. Clients also had a patio somewhere below the vegetation and wanted all waste away prior to new tenants moving in. Client wanted work to commence immediately.
Managed to reschedule other works to attend site for immediate start. Agreed to dismantle and remove old fencing to make safe as soon as possible whilst awaiting materials. Client specified concrete posts and concrete gravel boards with wooden panel fencing and the fitting of two gates. One run was straightforward and the other was on a sloping path so these panels and posts were stepped to take account of gradient and give a uniform finish. Bespoke gates were manufactured to fit the specified gaps.
The shed roof was beyond economic repair so was replaced and new felt applied to extend shed’s life. All garden vegetation and dirt removed ( a total of three skips worth for the whole job!) and then extensive jet washing to bring old patio back to life.
