Fencing, Burghfield Common
Client had a steeply sloping rear garden and needed a new boundary fence with neighbour with the additional problem of a small outhouse dissecting the fence line. As the property was also a mid terrace with shared access to the rear, with the neighbour, they wanted a solution to secure access to and from the rear gardens.
Agreed with client and designed and built stepped closeboard fence with concrete posts and gravel boards with arris rails and infills of feather edge from top of garden to one side of outhouse thereby giving a tidy and uniformed look throughout. From the other side of the outhouse we built closeboard fence using same method but as resting on concrete used timber gravelboards. Each entrance to both properties was provided with a gate secured with a ring latch set and padbolt.
